What we do
Cars, SUVs, trucks and heavy equipment. We look up the right glass by your VIN, and you choose OEM or quality aftermarket.
Windshield replacement

ADAS camera calibration
If your car has lane assist or auto braking, the camera gets calibrated after the new glass goes in.

Window stuck down or falling into the door? We replace the regulator.
Leak repair
Water coming in around the glass? We find where and seal it properly.
Sunroof glass
Replacement and installation of sunroof glass.
About chips and cracks: we don't do resin chip repair. If your windshield has a chip or a crack, we replace it, and if you have comprehensive coverage your insurance may cover it.
How a windshield gets done
This is what happens in your driveway. Before we leave, we tell you when it's safe to drive.
1. Old glass out
We cut through the old urethane and lift the broken glass out.
2. Prep the car
Old urethane and moldings come off so the frame is ready for the new glass.
3. Clean the new glass
Cleaned on a stand before it goes anywhere near your car.
4. Primer
Primer around the edge so the urethane bonds properly.
5. Urethane
A full, even bead. This is what keeps water out for good.
6. New glass in
Set in place, pressed into the urethane, and we clean up every bit of glass.

Using your insurance
If you have comprehensive coverage, in many cases a new windshield may cost you nothing out of pocket. It depends on your policy, so we check it with you before we start.
You choose who replaces your glass. Your insurance company may suggest a shop, but the choice is yours.
- Call your insurance and report the broken glass. They'll give you a claim number.
- Tell them you want OPK Car Glass Miami to do the work.
- We set a time and place that works for you.

Our installs carry a lifetime warranty against leaks, and if the glass breaks on its own because of an installation or material defect.
It doesn't cover new damage from rocks, accidents or vandalism. If you're not sure, just call and ask.
Where we go
All of Miami-Dade and Broward, up to West Palm Beach. Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm, by appointment. Same day when the schedule allows.
